Steven Schmidt Construction (SSC) has planned an efficient remodeling schedule that limits the construction disruption of the home to 10 days with affordable material selections included in the $10,000 overall project budget.

The first step is meeting with the client and determining needs and wants, as well as performing an initial measure.  We then determine a new floor plan and discuss material finishes and selections with the customer.

Upon approval of the new floor plan and materials, we perform a final measure and place orders for all the selections involved.

In order to meet the 10 day time commitment, the customer must have selections approved 3 weeks prior to construction start date (for ordering purposes and timely delivery).

 

 

 

 

Cabinets: Design, measure & install Wellborn Select Series, Franklin oak

Laminate tops: post form standard laminate

Flooring: floating laminate floor or sheet vinyl overlay of existing, 90 SF

Labor: demo and reinstall cabinets, misc repairs

Drywall repairs

Plumbing: R&R, new SS sink w/ chrome delta 400 faucet

Electrical: update all outlets, add 2 more outlets, install 2 fixtures

Paint walls & ceiling

 

Day 1: remove plumbing, tops, cabinets

Day 2: add and update electrical

Day3 –day 4: drywall repair

Day 5: install cabinets, misc trim & measure tops

Day 6: prep & paint

Day 7: paint

Day 9: install flooring
