David Schmidt

David Schmidt, our chief project coordinator, works closely with all Steven Schmidt Construction managers on scheduling, site supervision, subcontractor selection, and material orders and delivery. David has a lifelong interest in the environment, and for the past ten years has volunteered at the Minnesota Zoo on the Citizen Advisory Committee for the Farmland, and the Natural Area Preservation program in Dakota County. He recently completed Minnesota Master Naturalist volunteer training; he also volunteers at the Dodge Nature Center in West St. Paul. Born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, David grew up in Waseca. He and his wife Sara are avid travelers, recently returning from a vacation in northwest Costa Rica. With married children in Memphis and Denver, they make frequent trips to visit their extended families.
